Parents Taking Charge in Education
Summer Fun and Learning through Exposure Series by Mrs. Dorothy
Barron
Throughout the month of June Parents Taking Charge in
Education will present its Summer Fun and Learning through Exposure Series.
Posts this month will be brief for the purpose of enabling you to spend more
time with your child/ren having fun while enjoying a variety of activities that
can provide learning experiences.
Today, we begin with Part 1 - A Mix for Keeping Summer Fun and Stress Free for Your Child: 3 Easy Steps by Mrs. Dorothy Barron
•
Get Your Child’s end of the year school curriculum tests
results and review your child’s strengths and weaknesses with his/her teacher.
•
Plan summer activities
that provide experiences that your child will enjoy while assisting your child
with retaining, building and/or reinforcing his/her academic skills.
•
Have lots of fun in
the process – go places, see new
things and experience new adventures.
Have
you and your child done any of the following, lately;
Visited a vineyard and picked
grapes?
Walked on the beach
& collected seashells?
Visited
the zoo?
Who says learning can’t be fun? Learning and fun can
coincide! Keep summer fun and your child/ren free of stress.
